Elections Nova Scotia – Voters in Preston are reminded that there are extended hours for early voting in the by-election until 8 pm today, Friday August 4, 2023. The returning office and community poll are open today from 9 am – 8 pm.

Voters in Preston should remember to bring their Voter Information Card (VIC) and ID when they go to vote but these are not necessary. Eligible voters can register when they vote and take an oath to attest to their eligibility if they do not have current ID.

Voters in Preston who applied to vote by write-in ballot are reminded to return their completed ballot to be counted by 8 pm on election day, Tuesday, August 8, 2023. Voters can return their completed write-in ballot in-person to the returning office, 293 Main Street, Dartmouth, or have an agent return it on their behalf.
