Elections Nova Scotia – Early voting for the Preston by-election is available on the civic holiday weekend. Voters in Preston can vote at the returning office or community poll on Saturday, August 5, from 9 am – 6 pm.

Saturday, August 5, is the last day for the community poll. The community poll is located at 2345 Highway 7, East Preston. It is open for early voting from 9 am – 8 pm on Friday, August 4, and 9 am – 6 pm on Saturday, August 5.

The returning office for Preston is in the United Pentecostal Church of Dartmouth at 293 Main St, Dartmouth. The returning office is open for early voting from 9 am – 8 pm on Friday, August 4, and 9 am – 6 pm on Saturday, August 5, and 9 am – 6 pm on Monday, August 7. The civic holiday on Monday, August 7 is the last opportunity for voters in Preston to vote early. The returning office will be open for early voting on the civic holiday, Monday, August 7 from 9 am – 6 pm.

Voting is closed on Sunday, August 6.

Election day for the Preston by-election is Tuesday, August 8, 2023. On election day, voters in Preston may vote at their assigned voting location or the returning office. Voting will be open from 8 am – 8 pm on election day.
