Elections Nova Scotia Advisory Committees
The Elections Act provides for the Chief Electoral Officer to confer with and seek the advice of Advisory Committees. The Chief Electoral Officer is currently working with a number of organizations that advocate on behalf of people with disabilities in the hope that an Advisory Committee could work with the operations staff of Elections Nova Scotia to continuously review and propose improvements to the processes and procedures during an election.
