Judicial Recount – Glace Bay-Dominion

Elections Nova Scotia – A Supreme Court of Nova Scotia order has been issued by Justice Jamie S. Campbell for a recount of all ballots cast in the provincial election for the electoral district of Glace Bay-Dominion, held on August 17, 2021.

The recount will take place at the Sydney Justice Centre at 9:30 am starting on Monday, August 30th.

The application for the judicial recount was made by John Morgan, NDP candidate.

The deadline to apply for a judicial recount for the 41st provincial general election was Monday, August 23, 2021.

Candidates are officially declared elected when the writ of election for their electoral district has been completed and returned by the returning officer to the Chief Electoral Officer per section 159 of the Elections Act.

Elections Nova Scotia is a non-partisan and independent agency responsible for conducting provincial elections.
