Recount Confirms Hugh MacKay Elected in Chester – St. Margaret’s

A judicial recount of the ballots in the electoral district of Chester – St. Margaret’s was conducted today in Halifax under the supervision of Justice James L. Chipman of the Supreme Court of Nova Scotia.

The amended official results are:

Justice Chipman certified the Statement of Polls summaries for the recount and declared Nova Scotia Liberal Party candidate Hugh MacKay to be elected.
